Daisy Grenade Minneapolis Concert reviews
REO. Still selling out concerts
Friday nights at the Brown Jug with Daisy Grenade and nickel beers - pretty sweet. Needless to say, they have a soft spot with me. What energy! What great songs! What great musicians! That said, they are still wonderful. Before the concert we speculated on where they were tired of playing those songs (and silently wondered whether we were tired of listening). I was a student at U of I when they were getting the band together. If they all retire, what then. What gratitude they had for the audience. They played a lot of the old songs. HELL NO!! This is why they are selling out concerts, what, 45 years now. I go to see all of the old great bands whenever I can.
